Where to look for apartments for rent and how much does it cost?

We personally look for apartments on airbnb (with this link you can get $20 to travel for the first registration). You have to sign up and enter information about yourself and your payment card, as well as description of your personality, so that the flat owners could learn a little bit whom they will rent their homes.

Moreover, after each rental you and the owner should exchange feedbacks.

Each flat contains a description of what is inside and pictures, terms of apartment’s rental. For example, some owners add the service of cleaning to the price; very rarely they want a deposit in cash for insurance.

Commission of website is a must – if you book for one night, you have to pay about 10-12%.
If you book for a month – it may already be 50-60 dollars for the site services, for example.

Apartment rental price in common European towns starts from 25-35 dollars. In such cities as Venice, for example, the minimum price is from 50-60 dollars.

 There is also a well-known booking com, but we  use it when we can’t find apartments on the previous site. However, there is no fee for booking on booking.com. In addition, this site is primarily intended for searching hotels.

 Another option for a few nights – is couchserfing. In our two-week trip to France, we spent 7 nights on the couch. With stayed with four couples in different cities. Who doesn’t know about this culture – couchserfing – is a resource where people create accounts and if possible invite tourists to their place for a few nights stay for free in exchange for simple things: communication, learning something new etc. This means that people are willing to let foreigners stay at their flats for a night just to learn a language, spend a nice time with the company. This does not mean that when you sign up you also have to invite somebody in return – this is optional. What exactly needs to be done – is pay attention to those who accept you in their house, not just come to sleep at night and go in the morning. These are the conditions, and you don’t need to search for apartments for rent for one or several nights.

 We as a couple were looking for a couple too (by the way, feedbacks are also there), where we can spend the night and we enjoyed it with all the hosts. This is the best way possible to get to know the life of people in that country, and many tips on their part on any issue, as well as to save on apartments’ rental, of course.
